Steal this

  • 2 paid tiers: one price for access, another for proximity. Worth copying once you know which members want more of you.
  • The price is only shown after you click through. Hiding it is a choice: it filters for people already sold on the owner.

Notes

Teardown notes

The one-liner

A cyber security career community with weekly calls and a live cyber range.

What they actually sell

Cyber Career HQ, run by Wade Sali, lives on Skool. Its public pitch: "If you want a career in cyber security or you already have one and want to grow it, then this community is for you." A free tier sits at the front door, with Premium and VIP upgrades above it. Wade runs a weekly group meeting for questions and feedback, a live cyber range built on tools such as Microsoft Sentinel and Wazuh, and an internship for verifiable CV skills. Interview, communication and content skills round it out, with founder bonuses for the first 50 members. Inside sit 6 courses. A formal money-back promise is not spelled out on the about page.

Who pays and why

People who want to start or grow a career in cyber security. The frustration is not having hands-on experience to put on a CV. They join for weekly group meetings, a live cyber range and skills that can go on a CV.

Where the members come from

The Skool lander and Wade Sali's own teaching appear to be the main acquisition path. Public social links are thin on the about page, so growth reads as community-led rather than a giant media brand. Exact follower counts stay off the about page.

What's holding it back

Running a live cyber range and weekly meetings is heavy on the host's time. As membership grows, keeping feedback personal gets harder.

Steal this

Give members a live lab environment, so they build real experience instead of watching videos.

Would this work in another niche?

Yes for other technical careers such as cloud engineering. Weak for skills with no lab.
