The one-liner

A drum camp focused on double bass speed for rock and metal drummers.

What they actually sell

Marthyn's Drum Camp is run by Marthyn Jovanovic. The headline pitch reads: "Master double bass drumming, 130 BPM to 200+ BPM in months." The public offer sits at $59 a month. It teaches only two techniques, Flat Foot and Ankle, with a seven-day free trial and cancel in two clicks. Inside sit 11 courses. The page does not spell out a money-back promise. Anyone copying this should notice that the sale rests on one clear outcome rather than a long feature list.

Who pays and why

Rock and metal drummers stuck below fast tempos. The pain is years of practice without breaking through. They pay for two core techniques, floor-to-pedal training, a practice roadmap and weekly live Q&A. The emotional pull is being around people chasing the same thing, which matters as much as any single lesson.

Where the members come from

Marthyn Jovanovic links out to YouTube, Instagram and a website from the page. That points to members arriving through free content first, then paying once they trust the voice behind it.

What's holding it back

The focus is narrow. Once members hit their speed goal, they may leave.

Steal this

Promise a specific number, such as 200 BPM, and teach only what gets there.

Would this work in another niche?

Yes for any skill with a clear metric, such as typing speed. Weak for open-ended arts.

“Short and concise but very informative. Double bass has always been my Achilles heel, never getting past 140 confidently but it feels like I’m on track. What I really like about the exercises is that they are bite-sized. Having three kids below age 4 and working means little to no time but I still manage to do the workouts 3-4 times a week which is great. The techniques has done wonders in other areas as well, I feel much more confident playing quick single strokes while in pop/rock.”

“I’ve been in the program for a few months and had some major breakthroughs in my double bass playing. But the biggest surprise has come from the overall foundation this routine has established with my legs. Outside of double bass my plane is far more grounded which has translated into my timekeeping. Before this course for 30 years, I was just using my legs however and now I realize there are very deliberate muscle groups that should be activated at different tempos. game changer!”

“Been doing the floor exercises 3 times a week for 40 days now, and WOW! My legs are faster and stronger than ever before! Only 25 minutes 3 times a week. I Think I’m ready to move on to the other exercises soon!”

“I love the program! It's been designed and taylored to get straight to the point without unnecessary exercises that waist time and brain power. Don't get me wrong, you will still have to be committed and work hard. But you will bybass all the trial and error that comes with YouTube tutorials and doing it on your own. I wish this program was around when I first started double bassing. It would have saved me from the bad habits I've developed over the years.”

“I started the program 11 months ago after years strugling with my medium and fast tempos. Marthyn's daily feedback is key to find the small details you need to change to really improve. The flat foot technique as it's reached here has allowed me to be consistent anywhere below 170 and I'm building speed over that with the ankle technique. The hands course has made me play faster and more relaxed than ever before. This course has been real game changing for me!”
