The one-liner
A free professional home for ABA practitioners, from exam prep to running a practice, with paid tiers above.
What they actually sell
The ABA Playbook, run by LaKeysha Cobbs-Hayes, lives on Skool. Its public pitch: "Your career-long home for ABA certification prep, clinical excellence, and leadership." A free tier sits at the front door, with Premium and VIP upgrades above it. LaKeysha Cobbs-Hayes, a BCBA who started as a paraeducator and built a multi-location ABA company, splits the room by career stage: a study home for exam candidates, clinical confidence for the newly certified, and leadership and operations skills for people supervising staff or growing a practice. It is free to join and pitched as built for the whole career, under the line Learn. Apply. Master. Inside sit 11 courses and a dense module library. A formal money-back promise is not spelled out on the about page.
Who pays and why
RBTs, BCaBAs and BCBAs, from people studying for the exam to clinicians leading teams. The gap is that the credential never taught them how to handle a first caseload or run a practice. They join for study support, clinical confidence and leadership training from a 25-year behavioural health veteran.
Where the members come from
LaKeysha Cobbs-Hayes's YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and website presence appears to feed the room. The Skool community reads as the member back end for people already drawn to that work. Exact follower counts stay off the public page.
What's holding it back
The Premium and VIP tiers are not described on the page, so the free room has to do all the persuading for the paid offer.
Steal this
Map the community to every stage of a career, so members have a reason to stay after they pass the exam.
Would this work in another niche?
Yes for other credentialed professions such as nursing, counselling or accounting. Weak for one-off certificates.
