The one-liner

A $25 a month TPE Photography Tribe room for photography community for photographers wanting the WHY behind with a free.

What they actually sell

TPE Photography Tribe by Alex Kilbee photography community for photographers wanting the WHY behind the how. The public offer sits at $25 a month. A free trial is available on the join path. Members are promised most photographers are stuck on the same question: is this any good?, you've shown your best photograph to someone close and got an "oh, that's nice.", frustrating that they don't see what you were trying to create, understandable: they aren't photographers, and so where do you find photographers who'll give honest, helpful input?. Inside sit 10 courses. A formal money-back promise is not spelled out on the about page.

Who pays and why

Hobbyists who want company while they practise, not another lonely tutorial tab. The itch is starting projects and never finishing them alone. They pay for peer support and a place to keep practising with others.

Where the members come from

The Skool lander and Alex Kilbee's own teaching appear to be the main acquisition path. Public social links are thin on the about page, so growth reads as community-led rather than a giant media brand. Exact follower counts stay off the about page.

What's holding it back

If live energy fades, members who came for company will treat it as another course tab.

Steal this

Run a hobby community around weekly making together, not only a content library.

Would this work in another niche?

Yes for other skill hobbies with weekly making together. Weak for passive content libraries.
