Steal this

  • 2 paid tiers: one price for access, another for proximity. Worth copying once you know which members want more of you.
  • The price is only shown after you click through. Hiding it is a choice: it filters for people already sold on the owner.

The one-liner

A Skool leadership school for young athletes who want to lead their teams but were never taught how.

What they actually sell

TOC Athlete, run by J.P. Nerbun, lives on Skool. Its public pitch: "TOC Athlete helps athletes train leadership, build confidence, perform their best, and help their teams thrive." Membership is sold as a yearly plan, and the page also promotes a paid leadership cohort bundled with a year of access. JP Nerbun's message is that information without application is noise. TOC Athlete trains leadership, confidence and performance, and the page promotes a live six-week Culture Captain cohort of 12 sessions, the same training he gives Division 1 teams. A leadership journal posted to early joiners is part of the launch. The tagline frames leadership as a responsibility you claim, not a position you are given. Inside sit 5 courses and a dense module library. A formal money-back promise is not spelled out on the about page.

Who pays and why

Young athletes and team captains who are inspired by books and podcasts but cannot turn ideas into leadership. Parents and athletes pay because the coaching usually only reaches elite college programmes. They pay for leadership training from a coach who works with Division 1 teams, plus live cohorts.

Where the members come from

J.P. Nerbun's website presence appears to feed the room. The Skool community reads as the member back end for people already drawn to that work. Exact follower counts stay off the public page.

What's holding it back

The about page still pushes a cohort with a June deadline, so the urgency is out of date, and the cohort copy quotes a different yearly figure from the join button. A buyer cannot tell what they would actually pay today.

Steal this

Open a training you normally sell to elite teams to individual athletes for a limited window.

Would this work in another niche?

Yes for coaching brands that serve organisations, such as school leadership or sales teams. Weak where individuals cannot apply lessons without their team.
