Notes
Teardown notes
The one-liner
A free community for learning AI-assisted coding alongside other developers.
What they actually sell
Vibe Coders, run by Wes Odom, lives on Skool. Its public pitch: "Master Vibe Coding in our supportive developer community." It is free to join. From beginners to pros, level up your skills with peer support. Inside sit 3 courses. The public page keeps the promise practical and specific rather than vague networking talk.
Who pays and why
Builders and operators who feel behind on AI and do not want another tool graveyard. The fear is peers shipping while they still prompt in circles. They join for proven workflows and a practice room for applied AI. Vibe Coders is sold as a place to do the work with others, not to collect another login.
Where the members come from
The Skool lander and Wes Odom's own teaching appear to be the main acquisition path. Public social links are thin on the about page, so growth reads as community-led rather than a giant media brand. Exact follower counts stay off the about page. Wes Odom remains the visible face of the brand on the lander.
What's holding it back
AI rooms age in weeks. If workflows go stale, members who paid for edge will leave. Quiet weeks hurt more when the lander sold momentum.
Steal this
Sell AI community as weekly workflows members can run, not a tool directory.
Would this work in another niche?
Yes for other applied AI practice communities. Weak for prompt dump channels.
